FLIGHT CONNECTIVITY FOR GCC TRAVEL BUSINESSES

GDS. NDC. LCC.
One flight experience.

Blackrock brings Amadeus GDS, airline NDC and direct low-cost carrier content into one flight search and booking experience for agents and customers across the GCC, according to your commercial agreements and market requirements. It does not pretend the three work the same way underneath.

THREE WAYS AIRLINE CONTENT ARRIVES

Airline content arrives three ways. One experience on top.

Airline distribution models work differently underneath. Blackrock brings them into one customer and agent experience without pretending otherwise.

  • Amadeus GDSThe traditional route. Amadeus content in your B2B, B2C and corporate booking journeys.
  • Airline NDCThe airline's modern route. Airline-specific fares, product attributes and ancillary offers.
  • Direct LCCThe direct route. Selected low-cost carriers, so regional content that matters to GCC travellers and agencies can appear in search.
ONE SEARCH, MANY SOURCES

One search. Multiple content sources.

Blackrock can combine flight content from traditional GDS, airline NDC and direct low-cost carrier connections. Each one connects differently, and what it can show depends on the connection:

  • Amadeus GDS: workflows configured around your environment and credentials
  • Airline NDC: fares, product attributes and ancillary offers, where the selected connection provides them
  • Direct LCC: selected carriers, where commercial access and credentials are available
  • Your commercial agreements and market requirements decide which sources you search

  • PNR and booking references
  • Ticketing status
  • Cancellation and refund requests
  • Reissue and exchange processes
  • SSR information
  • Schedule and status context, where available

QUESTIONS

Questions about flight connectivity

How is Amadeus connected?

Amadeus content is integrated into B2B, B2C and corporate booking journeys, with workflows configured around your environment and credentials. Blackrock is an Amadeus Certified Commercial Application Partner.

Which low-cost carriers can I connect?

Blackrock connects selected low-cost carriers directly, where commercial access and credentials are available, so that regional content GCC travellers and agencies depend on can appear in your search. flydubai is one example. Which carriers you connect depends on your agreements.

Will NDC and LCC content look the same as GDS content?

Not underneath, and Blackrock does not pretend otherwise. The three models work differently, so what appears depends on the source: NDC can include airline-specific fares, product attributes and ancillary offers where the selected connection provides them. Agents and customers get one experience on top.

Can agents and customers see fare families and extras?

Yes, where the source supports them. Support can include fare brand names, baggage, seat conditions, change and refund rules, cabin, included services and upsell options, plus ancillaries such as baggage, seats and other paid airline services in the booking flow.

What happens after a flight is booked?

Workflows can include PNR and booking references, ticketing status, cancellation, refund requests, reissue and exchange processes, SSR information and schedule or status context where available. Flight bookings feed into WebAdmin, CRM, corporate controls and finance just like other products.

How long does it take to go live?

Delivery is hybrid. You configure the platform yourself while our engineers handle everything specific to your business, and you can go live in 2–6 weeks. Timelines vary with scope, suppliers and custom work.
